Founded in 2017, A Girl Project is a youth-led organization that strives to prevent gender-based violence (GBV) and build a safer environment where women and girls can fully enjoy their rights and achieve their full potential. The organization works to increase awareness and preventive mechanisms to end gender-based violence (GBV) through several means: community-based interventions, media advocacy campaigns, and promotion of school's educational actions to prevent GBV. Our actions focus on five thematic issue areas: harmful norms and attitudes; sexual violence; denied sexual and reproductive rights; domestic violence; child marriage and child domestic labor.
