In 2013, Leon Pope participated in Maroochydore State High School’s (MSHS) annual humanitarian trip to Cambodia. Each year, fifteen students from MSHS, travel to Cambodia and stay in an orphanage to teach English and spend time with the children. Whilst creating some unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships, students engage in humanitarian projects including constructing family homes and donating to charitable organisations.
Leon was considerably inspired by his initial trip, and since makes yearly trips to Cambodia. He has fallen for the beauty and people of the Kingdom of Wonder and wishes to share his experiences with everyday likeminded people.
