【Contradictory that Money is Essential in order to Overcome Poverty】
The main aim of our NGO is to eradicate poverty around the world.
What we have to do for accomplishing this purpose is
Provide ‘Business for Adults, Education for Children’,
which is our activity policy.
It has been widely acknowledged that the issues in education cause the issues of poverty and vice versa, and we strongly recognise this fact through our NGO activities.
In order to resolve these issues,
We have to keep providing institutions and environments where children can access to education, and these institutions and environments have to be operating persistently.
We therefore have to provide ‘Business for Adults, Education for Children’ to achieve our aim, namely to end poverty in the world.
What we need is….
‘Parental Incomes and Monthly Administrative Fees for Operating Educational Institutions’

【貧困から抜け出すにはお金が要るという矛盾】

このNGOのゴールは、世界中の貧困を全て無くすことです。

そのために何をしなければならないかを一言で申しますと、

「大人にはビジネスを！子供には教育を！」しなければならず、

これが、私たちNGO　ONO　　の　活動方針です。

教育の問題が貧困の問題を生み、また、貧困の問題が教育の問題を引き起こしているのは、

世界の共通認識ですし、現場にいる私たちには、全くもってそのとおりであると感じています。

その問題の解決のために

私達は、子供たちが勉強出来る施設や環境を作り続ける必要がありますし、

その施設や環境が5年10年と続かなければならないと思っています。


ゴール（世界中の貧困を全て無くす）にたどり着くためには、「大人にはビジネスを！子供には教育を！」しなければならないのですが、

具体的に何が必要かと、申しますと

それはズバリ、、、「親の収入+教育施設の毎月の運営費」です。


【Reality of Educational Institutions】
I would like to review the current situation in education.
In one slum area, while there are some schools there, some children cannot go to school because they need to help their parents’ works, or they are not willing to go to school as they cannot buy any pens or notebooks, or cannot play with their friends due to poverty.
In some cases, a shortage of teachers because of its low salary is a serious problem.
Some educational institutions run by NGOs are ordered to suspend operation due to lack of funding.
Thus, it is obvious that the opportunities of good education for children are entirely insufficient.
We also believe that establishing educational institutions does not necessarily equal providing environments where children can access to education.
Given the current situation regarding education,
●Current situation: quantitative and qualitative insufficiency in education and poverty
↓
●Goal: end poverty around the world
We have to help parental incomes rise and gain monthly administrative fees for operating educational institutions on the basis of our activity policy.


【教育施設の現実】

前後しますが、今の現状を確認しておきます。

あるスラムの村では、学校自体があっても、

子供が親の仕事の手伝いをするために学校に行けない
ノートやペンが買えないので行きたくない
20円のお小遣いが無いので、駄菓子屋に行けず、みんなと遊べないので行きたくない

先生の給料がその他の仕事より安いため、先生が少なかったり、
先生が家庭教師のアルバイトのため、休んでいたり
また、施設を運営しているNGO自体が資金不足になり、活動を停止したような事例もございます。

このように、子供たちが勉強するという環境がまだまだ不足しているのが現状です。

誤解を恐れず申し上げますと、学校という建物を建設することと、勉強が出来る環境を作るというのは、少し事情が違うと感じています。


上記が、今の現状ですので、


現状：教育がうまくいってない所がある、収入の少ない所がある
↓
ゴール：世界中の貧困を全てなくす

あとは、現状とゴールの差を埋めるために「大人にはビジネスを！子供には教育を！」の活動方針の元、


「親の収入+施設の毎月の運営費」を具体的に作り、進んでいかなければなりません。
