Palm Sugar Asia, a.k.a Golla Cella, is an organic palm sugar product from the Arenga pinata tree. Golla Cella is coined from our tribal language, and it means "red sugar". Three collaborative groups, namely CV, produce it. Insan Maiwa Mandiri (main coordinator), KWT Sejahtera Bangkala (women's farmer group), and Mitra UPK Kecamatan Maiwa, where we are based in South Sulawesi.In the meantime, we have been involving four villages within Kecamatan Maiwa and are expecting to embrace a total of 22 villages. Our human resources consist of ±100 people for now and are projected to put a total of ±300 people, including factory labours and farmers. The foragers extract palm sap liquid from trees, which is then collected in our factory to undergo six main processing stages (semi-modern)Our mission:1.
