Skopos

Welcome to Skopos. My name is Eddy Permana and I am happy to introduce myself. I started “Skopos” in 2014 to assist tourists, families, business travelers, students, expats and backpackers interested in uncovering Bandung and other destinations around Java and South Sumatra. Let me explain the idea behind Skopos. The Greek word “skopos”, from which we derive our words for telescope and microscope, simply means to pay close attention. For me, my most important task is to focus on your personal interest and desires and to facilitate your very own, unique Skopos Experience!
It started off with the concept of “Assisted Tours”, which is still one of the main pillars of Skopos. Instead of taking the lead and only guide you, we can organize and plan a trip together which might just suite to your individual or group travel design.
Is it your first time to Bandung and you would like to visit the “must see” places? You already live in Bandung or in Indonesia but want to take your family out and reconnect on a fun weekend trip? Maybe you have visitors and would like to make their holiday unforgettable? Even to students with a smaller budget, who want to go to places, which are otherwise difficult to reach; whether young or old, native or “bule”, I hope to give you a glimpse of the real Indonesia and open your eyes for things that might have been hidden before.
