Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang - SHLC

Opened in 2002, SHLC is located in the growing residential and industrial area of East Jakarta. Presently, the hospital has 58 beds and is supported by 80 doctors and 97 nurses. Located near the Jakarta - Cikampek Toll Road and Cikarang industrial areas, SHLC is well-positioned to offer comprehensive senior executive medical checkups as well as for the entire workforce in the companies.

More importantly, following SHLV and SHKJ, SHLC has also upgraded its 24 hour Trauma Centre (UGD) to treat trauma patients especially for traffic and industrial accidents. Each ambulance is fully staffed with a trained RMO, nurse and paramedic and equipped with AED (Automatic External Defibrillator to stop life threatening cardiac arrhythmias and reestablish an effective rhythm) and emergency kit to handle heart attacks, strokes and traumas. We are committed to arrive at the location (for Lippo Cikarang area) within 12 minutes from the time emergency call ends. Our 24 hour emergency is 89901-911.

SHLC provides all the major specialist services and is strong in Laparoscopic Digestive Surgery, a surgical technique that minimises trauma and accelerates recovery, ESWL (Extra Corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) for non-invasive treatment of kidney stones and Endoscopy to detect gastric and colon cancer. To complement its maternity services, a Paediatric Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has been added to serve the growing needs of the area.

SHLC also benefits from the “Hub and Spoke” strategy of Siloam to extend the reach of our experienced specialists in our Siloam “Hub” Hospitals in SHLV, SHKJ and MRCCC to the “Spoke” hospitals like SHLC. Through our investment in real-time Tele-medicine capability and Tele-radiology through digital radiology, patients in Cikarang area can have access to experienced specialists in clinical specialties not available there. Clinical information can be transferred through interactive audiovisual media to specialists in our Centres of Excellence (Hub) to provide consultations on a real time basis for diagnosis, treatment and sometimes procedures. This reduces cost and increases the community’s access to a wide range of highly specialized medical services.

Meanwhile, SHLC continues to introduce new specialist services to better serve patients in the east and has embarked on a major expansion plan to add the number of beds to 112 by the end of 2011. To serve the greater population in the east and complement its trauma services, SHLC has installed a Philips 1.5 Tesla MRI (the first of its kind in the area). SHLC is supported by the excellent Neuro Team from SHLV and can arrange for medical evacuation, if necessary, to SHLV.
