Vox Angelorum Choir was formed on August 17, 1997 by a group of Catholic youth in the Church of Maria Bunda Karmel (MBK), Jakarta.
The name Vox Angelorum is a Latin phrase meaning “Voice of angels”. The name came from Rm. Antonius Didit, Pr.
Throughout its journey, this small church choir has grown into a large choir with more than 60 active members, ranging from high school students to professionals and entrepreneurs.
Currently, Vox Angelorum Choir, under the direction of Henry Sutjipto as the conductor, has proven themselves as one of the respected church choirs in Indonesia, as marked by some remarkable achievements, both national and international.
Beside the routine services in the church, this choir is also actively performing in several concerts, workshops, social events, festivals & competitions.
