What's “Eco” about Nukulevu Island?
We support local small businesses and we encourage our guests to do the same. We buy organic and farm direct whenever possible. Most of the food served comes from within a five kilometre radius of the island.
We use Solar Power where we can and this is supplemented by a diesel-run generator when necessary.
We recycle EVERYTHING!
Our organic vegetable garden in the main settlement of the property has pineapples, papayas, passionfruit, coconuts, bananas, tomatoes, beans cucumbers, pumpkin and spinach. Our future plan is for an organic permaculture farm, with laying hens to supply fresh organic eggs daily.
All our friendly staff come from the local villages in the area and will ensure you get a five star organic island experience far from the madding crowds.
