Fundacion Minadores de Sueños

La fundación se creo a fines del año 2003 con el objetivo de promover el desarrollo integral de niños, niñas y adolescentes de bajos recursos económicos en el barrio Rancho los Pinos mediante proyectos viables y alternativos; incluyendo a los sistemas involucrados, padres, comunidad e instituciones, para contribuir con personas integrales basados en la práctica de valores que fortalecen el sistema familiar y social.
¿Por qué “Minadores de Sueños”? Los minadores son personas excluidas de la sociedad. Estas personas viven, trabajan y luchan en la marginalidad, buscando su subsistencia entre los desperdicios de la ciudad.
“Para nosotros son personas con sueños y esperanza, los sueños son fundamentales en los seres humanos, minamos sueños que nos ayuden a construir realidades de vida digna, tenemos sueños que nos dan esperanza, sueños que nos hacen luchar buscando días mejores. Minar sueños es invitar a hacer las cosas con amor”
Las personas que conforman la fundación ofrecen es un espacio donde el niñ@ puede vivir su creatividad y sus sueños. Existe una convivencia con dignidad, respeto, solidaridad y confianza; también se fortalece la sana competencia y las relaciones sociales de los niñ@s y adolescentes.
Con intervenciones oportunas queremos que la unión familiar se fortalezca y así prevenir el abandono familiar, la deserción escolar y la incursión en las calles. Para lograr una prevención primaria tratamos con los niñ@s temas de violencia, drogas y explotación, mismos que discutimos y reflexionamos conjuntamente. Resumiendo cumplimos los derechos humanos, de los niñ@s y adolescentes.
Una de las metas de la fundación es la autogestión y corresponsabilidad de la comunidad. Eso significa que en todas las actividades los pobladores son actores y ponen su parte; así evitamos la pasividad que asumen las personas por su situación de pobreza. Optimizar los recursos materiales o espacios físicos, que existen en el barrio, para la realización de las actividades es un logro importante de los miembros de la fundación.

The foundation aims at promoting the integral development of children and teenagers in needs from the community “Rancho los Pinos” through viable and alternative projects. We solicit the involvement of parents, community and institutions to contribute to a good practices system to strengthen the social and family structure.
Why “Minadores de sueños” – dreams miners-? The miners are excluded for the society. These people live, work and fight at the margin of the society struggling for their survival with the city leftovers.
“To us, they are people with dreams and hopes, the dreams are a fundamental part of the human beings, we mine dreams that help us to build up an image of a life with dignity, we have dreams that give us hope, dreams that make us fight for better days. To mine dreams is to invite everyone to do things with love.”
The people that are part of the foundation strive to create a space where the children can live up to their creativity and dreams. We create conviviality with dignity, respect solidarity and trust. We encourage reasonable competition and social relations between the kids which are therefore fortified.
With timely interventions we want to strengthen family unity and therefore to prevent family abandonment, school dropouts and taking to the streets.
To reach initial prevention, with the children, we discuss and reflect over themes such as violence, drugs and exploitation as well as the human rights.
One of the goals of the foundation is to reach self-management and co-responsibility with the community. This means that in each and every activity, the inhabitants get involved and do their share. As such we prevent passivity that people take for granted due to their situation of poverty. Enhancing the material resources and physical spaces that exist in the community to realise the projects is also one of the main aim of the members of the foundation.
